| By Airplane | |
| There are about 8 daily flights between Hualien and Kaohsiung, and the period of each flight | |
| is about 40 minutes. Transasia Airways and Formosa Airlines provide us with flight from | |
| Hualien to Tainan and Hualien to Taichung everyday respectively. Connecting bus from the | |
| airport to Hualien train station is about 20 minutes, then, you can take a bus to campus, and | |
| get off at Ji-Shiu station. This ride to campus is about 30minutes. Taxies are readily | |
| available in the airport, and the fee is about NT400 to the campus. | |
| By Train | |
| If you take the Eastern line, it will take about 3 hours from Taipei train station to Hualien | |
| train station. People from the southern part of Taiwan may also come to Hualien by taking | |
| the Southern line. Then you can reach Dong Hwa University by taking the Hualien public | |
| transportation. | |
| By Bus | |
| There are Hualien bus transportation and Fengyuan bus transportation from Taichung | |
| railway station to Hualien railway station everyday. If you come from Taidung, there are | |
| also Hualien bus transport and Taidung Dingdung bus transportation service between | |
| Taidung and Hualien. | |
