We are delighted to announce the International Workshop on the Quantum Control of Electrons on Liquid Helium and other Low-Dimensional Systems, to be held at National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan on December 15-16 2014. The aim of the meeting is to review and discuss the latest research trends concerning strongly correlated electrons on liquid helium substrates and other low-dimensional electron systems, as well as related topics in nanoscience and low temperature physics. The meeting will consist of full-length presentations and some shorter talks, as well as time for informal discussions. The participants will include senior scientists and young researchers from all over the world. Accommodation for participants will be provided in the Guest House on the NCTU campus.
